Laie Point โ known historically as Laniloa Point โ sits at the northeastern tip of Oahu, where the Laniloa Peninsula juts into the open Pacific. The surrounding islets are the legendary remains of a great mo'o slain by the demigod Kana.
The famous sea arch in the largest islet was formed by the devastating tsunami of April 1946. Today the point is a beloved State Wayside โ a haunt for fishermen, cliff jumpers, birdwatchers, and anyone who wants to see Hawaii at its most raw and beautiful.
Living on Naupaka Street means waking up to this every day.
